The school has a zero tolerance policy to the following:
Student engagement with age-inappropriate content, including games and films
Student use of social media platforms, including but not limited to Snapchat, WhatsApp, Facebook and
Instagram. Children under 13 years of age should not have access to social media platforms.
Where parents are found to be allowing their children to engage with the above, the school reserves the right to involve external agencies such as the NSPCC or in some cases Social Care, as permitting children to access such material may be deemed to be emotional neglect.
Since the school wholeheartedly discourages the use of the internet for age-inappropriate content, where
children are found to be abusing each other within group chats or by text messaging it is for the parents
to deal with this themselves as it is the parents' responsibility to monitor AND police online behaviours
outside of the school day.
